  • Free: in your browser

Everything stays on your device. Clearing the browser's data clears it too, so download what you want to keep.

Questions people ask

What is a credit?

The unit everything is priced in, about one cent at list price. Writing, designs, storyboards, voices and video each cost a set number of credits, and Pilot shows the price before any work starts. Talking with Pilot is always free.

What can I make on the free plan?

One project, up to about halfway: the idea, story and bible, characters and places with design drafts, scripts and storyboards. Video needs a paid plan.

Do unused credits roll over?

Monthly credits carry over for one month. Credits from packs last 12 months.

What if something doesn't come out right?

Nothing is charged for work that fails. For results you don't like, every earlier version stays in History, so you can always go back.

Who owns what I make?

You do. Your stories, characters and films are yours, including commercial use on paid plans. We never train AI on your work.

Where are my files stored?

Never on our servers. On paid plans, in your own Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or Box. On Free, in your browser, on your device.

How do seats work on Studio?

Studio includes two seats: you and one teammate. Invite more people any time; each new person adds a seat, and the seat goes when they leave. You choose which projects each member works on.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes, any time, from Billing. Paying yearly costs about a third less than paying month by month.

Can we use our own AI provider contracts?

Yes, on Enterprise, for a platform fee. Talk to us about volume prices, single sign-on and support.
